Soft, pale and wonderfully feathery, Thistledown is made from sweeping layers of cream and biscuit-coloured grasses, threaded through with delicate faded seed stems. Its restricted palette lets the texture take centre stage, creating something ethereal and almost cloud-like.
Everything botanical has been grown or foraged by me in Bradford on Avon, and arranged onto a base I’ve woven by hand from British willow from Musgrove Willows.
