Cicely Flowers – Terms & Conditions

Welcome! These Terms & Conditions cover all purchases and bookings from Cicely Flowers, including subscriptions, wedding/event flowers, pre-order bouquets, and flower stand purchases. By ordering or collecting flowers, you agree to these terms.

1. Flower Subscriptions

Bouquet Size & Presentation

Each subscription bouquet contains approximately 16–24 stems, wrapped in eco-friendly kraft paper and twine, ready to place straight into a vase.

Stem Count Notes:
Stem counts are approximate and will vary depending on the season. Early spring and late summer deliveries may include fewer stems, featuring larger, statement blooms. Mid-summer bouquets typically contain more stems, reflecting a lighter, abundant seasonal style. Exact stem counts cannot be guaranteed.

Delivery & Collection

Subscription bouquets are delivered or collected on Fridays.

Delivery

Delivered to the following areas:
Bradford on Avon, Bradford Leigh, Holt, Winsley, Turleigh, Freshford, Avoncliff, Limpley Stoke, and Westwood.

  • Flowers can be left safely in a bucket of fresh water if no one is home.

  • Customers are responsible for providing a safe, accessible delivery location.

  • If you are outside the listed delivery area, please contact me before ordering to request a delivery quote.

Subscriptions may be collected from:

Please ring the bell and I will be there to greet you with your flowers.

Collection timeslots:

  • 9.30am–10.30am, or

  • 4.30pm onwards

I cannot guarantee collection outside these times.

Subscription Start Dates

Choose your start month. Subscriptions begin on the first Friday of that month, except April, which may start slightly later depending on weather and seasonal blooms.

Reminder Email: Subscription holders will be emailed one week before their subscription is due to start as a friendly reminder.

Subscription Length & Pricing

Subscriptions are available in 4, 8, 12, or 16 week blocks at £30 per week.

Subscriptions are sold as fixed-length blocks and are non-refundable once started.

Skipping a Delivery

Skip a delivery with at least 48 hours’ notice. Skipped deliveries may be:

  • added to the end of your subscription, or

  • doubled up on a future delivery (subject to availability and seasonal constraints)

Missed deliveries without sufficient notice cannot be refunded or replaced.

Uncollected Orders

If you fail to collect your subscription flowers, I will contact you via the email provided. Flowers will be held for one additional day before being composted.
I cannot guarantee the quality or longevity of late-collected flowers. No refunds are available.

Seasonal Availability & Substitutions

All flowers are seasonal and UK-grown. Substitutions may be made due to weather, crop failure, or other factors beyond my control.

Force Majeure

In the event of extreme weather, illness, or other circumstances outside my control, I may pause, reschedule, or extend subscriptions rather than issue refunds.

2. Wedding/Event Flowers

Booking & Payment

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding or event date. The booking is confirmed only once the deposit is received.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than two weeks before the event. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation, with no obligation to supply flowers.

Changes to Date

If the wedding or event date changes after paying the deposit, I will do my best to accommodate it. I cannot guarantee availability, and the deposit remains non-refundable if I cannot supply flowers on the new date.

Additional Items & Communication

Additional items may be added, subject to availability and agreed pricing.
All communication is directly with me, Aliciai, via email.

Flower Selection & Colour Palette

All flowers are seasonal and UK-grown. While I will aim to match your chosen colour palette and style, specific flower varieties or exact colours cannot be guaranteed.

Harvesting & Flower Condition

Wedding/event flowers are harvested and conditioned to be at their best on the day of your wedding/event.

  • DIY bucket flowers: supplied in buckets of fresh water

  • Floral arrangements: supplied fully hydrated

Collection, Transport & Responsibility

All wedding/event flowers must be collected by the customer.
Once collected, it is your responsibility to transport and store flowers safely.
Cicely Flowers cannot accept responsibility for damage, breakage, or flower quality once collected.

Inspection & Acceptance

On collection, you are invited to check over your flowers and arrangements.
By taking the flowers, you confirm that you are happy with their condition. No refunds or replacements are available after collection.

3. Pre-Order Bouquets

4. Flower Stand Purchases

Purchase & Payment

Customers may select and pay for flowers directly at the Cicely Flowers stand. Payment can be made by cash or card.

All sales are final at the point of purchase.

Bouquet Contents & Seasonal Variations

All flowers are seasonal and UK-grown. The exact flowers available at the stand may vary depending on season, weather, and availability.

While every effort is made to present fresh, high-quality flowers, specific varieties or colours cannot be guaranteed.

Responsibility & Care

Once purchased, it is the customer’s responsibility to handle and transport flowers safely.
Cicely Flowers cannot accept responsibility for damage, breakage, or flower quality once the bouquet has left the stand.

Refunds

Due to the nature of fresh, seasonal flowers, all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are available at the stand.
