Hi, I’m Alicia, the grower and heart behind Cicely Flowers, a thriving micro flower farm in Wiltshire. What started in 2022 as a small front-garden project in Bradford on Avon has grown into a flourishing flower business, producing homegrown, seasonal British flowers for bouquets, weddings, and special events.
I literally grow all my flowers in a small plot just down the road from my home, harvest them by hand, and bring them back to my kitchen to process and create beautiful arrangements. Every bouquet is personally handled from stem to wrap, giving each one a truly artisan touch.
I use organic, no-dig methods that care for the soil, encourage wildlife, and produce the healthiest, happiest flowers possible. All bouquets are wrapped in compostable and recyclable materials, because sustainability is at the heart of everything I do.
I grow all my flowers outdoors, extending the season with low tunnels, so blooms are available from early April through mid-November. I cultivate a mix of perennials such as heirloom chrysanthemums, fluffy peonies, and dahlias, alongside annuals like cosmos, sweet peas, and snapdragons — creating a colourful, ever-changing palette of seasonal British flowers.
Unlike many flower farms, I don’t grow any foliage or greenery. Instead, I choose smaller accent flowers such as chamomile, schizanthus, and cornflowers, giving my bouquets a full, flowery, and romantic look.
Alongside seasonal bouquets, I create natural wedding flowers across Wiltshire and Somerset and offer local flower subscription deliveries to your home or business, bringing freshly cut, artisan flowers straight to your doo
