Cornfield is all seed heads, grain and faded gold: delicate flax pods, wheat, grasses and clusters of dried achillea woven into a loose, sweeping circle. The tiny round seed heads give it an almost pointillist texture, while the long grasses spill beyond the wreath in every direction.
Everything botanical has been grown or foraged by me in Bradford on Avon, and arranged onto a base I’ve woven by hand from British willow from Musgrove Willows.
