Rich, textural and wonderfully unruly, Burnished is filled with cascading amaranthus in shades of rust, bronze and faded green, punctuated with soft achillea, grasses and little flashes of deep pink. The long, trailing stems give it a beautifully loose silhouette - more faded late-summer meadow than traditional autumn wreath.
Everything botanical has been grown or foraged by me in Bradford on Avon, and arranged onto a base I’ve woven by hand from British willow from Musgrove Willows.
