How to pre order valentine’s day flowers
Valentine’s Day can feel rushed and overwhelming when it comes to flowers — but it doesn’t have to be. Pre-ordering your Valentine’s bouquet is the simplest way to make sure you’re giving something thoughtful, seasonal, and beautifully made, without the last-minute panic.
Here’s how pre-ordering Valentine’s Day flowers with Cicely Flowers works, step by step.
1. Trust the Season (and the Grower)
Valentine’s Day bouquets from Cicely Flowers are created using entirely seasonal flowers, grown locally in Bradford on Avon. This isn’t a case of choosing a bouquet you like the look of from a catalogue — every bouquet is different.
When you pre-order, you’re putting your trust in me, the grower, to harvest the most beautiful blooms ready at that moment and create a unique bouquet just for you. The flowers are led by the season and the weather, which means no two bouquets are ever the same — and that’s very much the point.
2. Pre-Orders Close on Thursday 12th February
Valentine’s Day bouquets are available to pre-order online until Thursday 12th February.
After this date, flowers will only be available from the flower stand, which will be open on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th February. These will be smaller bunches, rather than the more generous, thoughtfully arranged bouquets available to pre-order, and availability will be very limited. If you’d like a more generous, hand-picked bouquet, pre-ordering is the best way to guarantee one just for your Valentine.
Please note: all Valentine’s bouquets are available for collection only — I do not offer delivery for pre-ordered bouquets.
3. Add a Personal Message
Each Valentine’s bouquet comes wrapped in eco-friendly paper and twine and includes a blank message card, ready for you to write your own words. Whether it’s romantic, heartfelt, or simple, a handwritten note adds a personal touch that makes the gift even more meaningful.
4. Collect Your Flowers
Pre-ordered Valentine’s bouquets are available for collection from Cicely Flowers in Bradford on Avon on:
Friday 13th February
Saturday 14th February
Collection times are:
9:30am–10:30am
From 4:30pm onwards
Please note that if you arrive outside of these times, I can’t guarantee that anyone will be available to hand over your order.
5. Make It a Gift That Lasts Longer with a Subscription
If you’d like your Valentine’s gift to last beyond just one day, you can choose to add a flower subscription to your order.
This includes the Valentine’s bouquet followed by three additional seasonal bouquets, delivered weekly later in the year when flowers are at their best. It’s a lovely way to turn a single gesture into something your loved one can enjoy again and again.
Full details about delivery areas, start dates, flexibility, and skipping a week can be found on the flower subscription pages of my website. If you’re unsure whether delivery is available to you, or have any questions before ordering, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
Each subscription also comes with a card detailing the delivery dates and what your loved one can expect over the three weeks, which can be collected when you collect your pre-ordered Valentine’s bouquet.
A Slower Way to Do Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day falls at a tricky time of year for British flowers, which is why pre-ordering matters so much. By planning ahead and choosing seasonal blooms, you’re supporting local growing, reducing reliance on imports, and embracing a slower, more thoughtful way of gifting.
Pre-orders are limited and will close once capacity is reached.
Pre-order your Valentine’s bouquet today for collection from Cicely Flowers in Bradford on Avon. Hand-picked and seasonal, each bouquet will be ready for you on Friday 13th or Saturday 14th February. With every bouquet hand-picked and thoughtfully arranged, you can relax knowing your flowers will be fresh, beautiful, and ready to delight on Valentine’s Day.
